This past Sunday, Cycle Station athlete – Rani Tanimoto claimed first place overall in the women’s division at the Kona Half Marathon, blazing a 1:27 run. It was Rani’s 7th Kona Half Marathon women’s title that came shortly after running down the women’s leader at mile 8 of the race. Rani’s victory in Kona comes just one week after winning the Miyajima International Power Triathlon Championships in Japan (“WoodMAN”), where she made a bit of history, as the first “outsider” to ever win the race.
“I’m proud and excited to be a part of the Cycle Station Racing Team! The tremendous support and on-going encouragement from Oliver and Julia of Cycle Station has been a huge factor to my successful races! They are simply “the best!” – Rani
